Smashing Magazine has posted their new “Free Fonts of the Month”. Great resource for every designer to check out. And they’re FREE! DUH!
Every now and again we take a look around, select “fresh” high-quality free fonts and present them to you in a brief overview. The choice is enormous, so the time you need to find them is usually the time you should be investing in your current projects. We search for them and we find them, so you don’t have to.
This month we are glad to present you Freebooter Script, Cora Basic Regular, Walkway and Karabine. Please read the license agreements carefully — they can change from time to time.

Veerle’s Blog put on a competition asking the question “What is graphic design?” The response must have been overwhelming because from all the submissions they picked 15 winners. Click through to see the entire post.

Big Head Design has a great article up on his design blog site about the powerful use of typography. It’s amazing to me how typography alone can bring an entire project together. The example above is just one of thousands that demonstrate this concept to perfection. It’s Clean, Simple, Elegant, and, as Justin at Big Head Design puts it, “green…..it’s so HOT right now”.
Thanks Justin for another Great post.
