Over my years of playing with web design and tinkering with the latest and greatest, i’ve seen some pretty awesome things. Trying to stay cutting edge is always a designer’s goal and sometimes people will reach those goals… then of course everyone copies, tweaks, enhances and promotes until the beginning is lost. I’m sure that the people over at SilverBack aren’t the first to use transparency and PNG files to make their web page unique, but it really shows me a side of web design that gets my coding fingers flying! There’ so many things that are now possible with the use of PNGs and their ability to allow the user to utilize their alpha channel transparency.
